going to sleep

Laying down for bed now. Had a great first day! Had a couple naps today, a few meals, played some badminton out front with hursha, kshitija, vipul, and jeevan, they are all so big now! Except hursha, kshitja is even bigger than her now! The girls took me down to the market in a rickshaw around 7 so they could pick up a birthday card for ajoba, we also sat and had some chocolate mousse, but that's a secret! Somewhere in there we played carrom and uno too. The only downside is everyone speaking a different language than me when we're all just sitting around. Well that's my update, goodnight!!

Good morning, Jonathan!

How old are your cousins now? Kshitija was only 3 the last time I saw her. I suspect Hersha remembers me, so please give her a hug from me. Is Hersha still quiet and shy? And Kshitija full of presence and energy? A great idea during the I-can't-understand-a-thing time is to take pictures! Pictures of everything - people, ordinary things. You are so artistic. Would love to see India how you see it.

I got some new brushes and paints, so have been playing with them today. Awoke to a dense blue/grey fog this morning. The moon hangs as a dainty silver pendant tonight - a wisp of a sliver. Back to my studying about literalism in American churches and courts. Love you! Mom
